Have you checked the tip from mmckeen in post no. 4? I think you’ll find that the Hide Main content block in Home profile is set to Yes.

I didn’t try that, can you specify details? Where set that?

Extensions > Template manager > Teline IV > Profiles : Home : Global settings : Hide Main content block.

    Switch from Yes to No.

As you may have seen, new versions of some of the central parts of Teline IV were published today. But I think this value is set to «Yes» even in the new version.

    Good luck!

I can’t believe. By default is that value “No”. I just installed new version. Problem is still here. I don’t understand, wtf is this. Blah… What else can I try? That’s really… ermm…

EDIT: I think I found problem. Problem is in Firefox version 3.6.13.
In Safari works. But, can anybody fix that?

That’s strange. I presume you have emptied the caches, both under administrator > tools and in your browsers?
You see, I had the same problem as you have described at least since version 1.1.0, without discovering it until yesterday :-[

But after switching the Hide main content block setting, all seems to work as expected. In my case the culprit was in the Home profile setting, but it might be worth checking all the profiles.

If things works in Safari, they are usually adhering to standards. But that isn’t good enough if your settings don’t also work in Internet Explorer. I just checked the last 10.000 visits at my site: No less than 66,1% used IE; 12,7% FF for Windows, 4,2% Chrome for Windows and 3% Opera for Windows. That is 86 percent Windows users. The infamous IE6 has less than 10 percentage points of those, but is still larger than Safari’s 9 percent.

    Omg, I did things wrong.
I didn’t set ‘No’ i ‘Home profile’, I just looked at ‘Default profile’ -> there was no by default, but in Home wasn’t. Now I set up
‘No’ in ‘Home profile’ and it works 🙂

Thanks everybody, I really excuse for my ‘not doing things right’ 🙂
    Best Regards to all!

EDIT: steinar, if I understand you what you want to say -> I wrote before ‘can anyone fix that?’ becouse I want to my templates works on all web browsers 🙂 So, now is problem solved and all is fine 🙂

I agree with steinar here, it is probably the cache on firefox. If it works in Safari then it is unlikely to be the caches in the Joomla back end. Try using <cttrl>+F5 while viewing your page in FF and see if that clears it. Some items with profiles are also stored in cookies so you may have to clear your cookies in FF too.

Wow, that’s great! And if I may be so free: You should really go to http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/problem-with-viewing-articles/#post-367226 and press mmckeen’s Thanks button. After all he presented the correct solution already last week 😀
    Ciao!
