Have the following problem
when i view your demo avaliable online
http://templates.joomlart.com/ja_purity_ii/ ( using full screen mode)
If using IE 7 on a resolution of 1024 x 768 the left menu is right down the bottom and the ‘whats the template’ user position goes under the user position ‘ what is joomla’
In IE8 its fine unless its in compatibility mode and it does the same thing
it also tends to do it in all resolutions if i manually resize the window below 1024×768
Is this a easy fix as i dont tend to see any posts regarding this .. as the site i have also built using your great template does the same thing 🙁
any help please as this is driving me crazy !!
Thanks

it does it on every PC i use
Using IE 7 load the demo website and click the icon top right corner to make it full screen ..
try the website on resoultion on 1024×768. if you resize the window slightly the left menu goes right to the bottom and the user positions at the top go under each other
December 1, 2010 at 4:31 pm #365018I’m also facing the same problem. This only happens in IE7, in FF it works fine. To reproduce:
- Open http://templates.joomlart.com/ja_purity_ii/?main_layout=default in IE7.
- Click the || icon at the right top to switch to full screen.
- The left column is moved to the bottom, under the main content. If not, slowly resize the window horizontally. You can see that sometimes the left column is OK, sometimes it jumps down, then back, etc.
Attached are some screenshots.

December 1, 2010 at 6:38 pm #365027i managed to bodge a fix
set the min Width to 1024×767
Set the default to Widescreen .. Also removed the narrow Screen button
i would love to use full screen .. Just isnt possible with IE7 .. and 40% of my hits are IE7 🙁
ALSO !! the problem specified in the first post also happens in IE8 in compatibility mode

December 6, 2010 at 10:29 am #365424I think when we browse the web, we never resize our browser window so small like your screenshot.
I also tried to check but didn’t find any bug.
