Hi,

I am trying to install VIRTUEMART into Joomla 1.5 (Legacy state set to 1.0), but the tutorial is unclear.
Link to tutorial: http://tutorials.joomlart.com/readme/ja-larix.html (in the middle of the page).

Problem A:
The tutorial: “To begin install Virtuemart, you have to add these module position to your template positions: vm-fp, your-cart”
But how can I add a empty module position in Joomla 1.5?

Problem B:
The tutorial: “Install these modules: mod_product_categories, mod_ja_vmproductslide, mod_virtuemart_featureprod, mod_virtuemart_cart.”
But where can I download these modules?

Am I the only one, with this kind of problems?

Prob A: I will write up a tutorial now on how to do this, and will reply with a link in a few minutes.

Prob B: I think they’re the ones that come with VirtueMart itself.

About problem A:
Your tutorial looks fine. 🙂
But your fine tutorial is not for Joomla 1.5 (as I was asking for), but for Joomla 1.0.13. :((

But mabye you can make a tutorial for how to add a empty module position in Joomla 1.5?

About problem B:
Thanks, I try to chek on http://www.virtuemart.net about the missing files/modules.
(mod_product_categories, mod_ja_vmproductslide, mod_virtuemart_featureprod, mod_virtuemart_cart).
