April 20, 2016 at 9:34 pm #920618I ask you to suggest the package to download to try to update the framework to T3 and how to install it.
Here the download page for latest template T3 version
You have to download the JA University T3 template Jul 08, 2015 1.1.3 and also the T3 System Plugin
After downloaded install both of them using Joomla extension manager and disable your old T3v2 plugin and enable new one installed – same for template make the new template as default template
most important in the upgrade is the positions names – you can edit your template and in Layout tab assign the same name positions as you had on old template
P.S
TAKE A FULL BACKUP ( DATABASE AND FILES ) OF YOUR ACTUAL WEBSITE BEFORE TO MAKE THE UPDATE, SO YOU CAN RESTORE IT EASILY IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG.
HERE you can find the detailed documentation for your new template.
If you have questions or doubt feel free to ask here we will help you with it
You can also answer in Italian if you find it more confortable with explanations.
Best regards
April 20, 2016 at 9:42 pm #920621I completed the suggested steps but do not understand why I get this message. You can check if I omitted anything?
The plugin JAT3 framework must be installed and enabled.
thanks
April 20, 2016 at 9:48 pm #920627I solved, missing the voice allocation template menu
the name of the positions is not a problem because you have not changed.
The problem instead is that I lost the assignment of the modules compared to the menu items.there is no way to retrieve these settings from one version of the template without redoing all the controls on the whole site?
April 20, 2016 at 10:05 pm #920628thanks for the support. I restored the backup version of the site.
I’ll try to do a trial run on a version of the site that clonerò to a new folder. If there are new releases that solve the problems I encountered, solving them with more simplicity, I would be grateful if I could have a way to be prompted via email.
thank you.

I don’t think there will be new releases for the T3V2 based template –
You should fix it using latest T3 Framework based
