    Hi,

I have problem with menus position in IE8, all other browsers working fine. Please see page Location for example at:

    http://wirl.net/qrbywo

Menu Location should be at position right as in Accommodation page.

Second problem is with Reservations page (Our rooms tab for example). Content spreads bellow the footer. And again, if I put menu at this page I have it misplaced as in Location page.

As you can see content on both pages are in custom modules.

OK, I solved the problem, it is the compatibility issue as in previous post answer by mfcphil. 😀

IE8 is making a great move towards compatability with other browsers with following the CSS guidelines as they were defined by the w3 organization. Thats why sites may look different if you move on from IE7 to IE8. I hope in the future all browser will follow the guidelines the exact same way. That will make the live of a web developer a lot easier! 🙂

I have noticed it is getting better. Lets hope ie9 is fully css compliant. Maybe even css3…

Hopefully IE will be fully compliant, but in meantime we have to spend ours trying to find what’s wrong… Actually, I think IE was intentionally buggy and point is when you use IIS and all of the Microsoft tools, everything is working fine 😉

Does frontpage have some kind of template generator for joomla?! 😀

I doubt it. There might be something though. I know dreamweaver has something of that sort.

And even if it does DONT use frontpage 🙂

There are a lot much better programs on the market who give you proper code, instead of the bad ones from frontpage.

I was just joking. I’m using the oldschool, old fashioned, die hard text editor. 😀

I also use tekstual editor most of the time, but I tried CoffeeCup editor few days ago, it seems OK, simple and effective…
