First I would like to apologize for my English, I am Brazilian.
Today i tried install the template JA Blaze in the serve, using the “QuickStart” mode.
After a little problem (the point “configuration.php” was negative, but i fixed it), the installation was completed. But when i go see the website i have a bad surprise: http://autopsiablogger.com.br/index.php
Some modules are not installed (and in wrong positions), the layout is ugly and wrong and if i try connect to the Administrator Painel a Error appears.
I love this template and this service, please help me!

what you have done in this file ? it’s important to know if something was changed
The problem of the 500 error in your backend is in that file
I have noticed also this message JFolder::create: Could not create directory this error is due to the ftp layer when you install the template you need to enable the ftp layer fill the fields requested with your info username and password .

December 4, 2011 at 7:29 pm #427909Hi o/
Well, i modified nothing in the file “configuration.php”, i just changed the permissions to the folder “www'( this folder contain all installation files Joomla). I changed the permissions on this way:
Before: // This configuration generate a error in the Installation Process
Owner: Read = Yes Write = Yes Execute = Yes
Group: Read = Yes Write = No Execute = Yes
Everyone: Read = Yes Write = No Execute = YesAfter: // Everything gonna ok in the Installation
Owner: Read = Yes Write = Yes Execute = Yes
Group: Read = Yes Write = Yes Execute = Yes
Everyone: Read = Yes Write = Yes Execute = Yes

I imagine this configuration is not really safe, so i ask for a way to resolve this problem.—

<blockquote>I’m sorry but i not understand what you wanted say with this. Can you explain better?
Who i do this?</blockquote>During your installation process at step 5 FTP configuration you must enable the ftp layer and insert your account details
This setting can resolve your actual issue <blockquote>JFolder::create: Could not create directory </blockquote>

You must ask to your hosting provider to setup your web space for a joomla installation they can tell you the best chmod for your folders

December 4, 2011 at 8:32 pm #427915Thank you!
Later i will try do what you say.If something goes wrong i post here.
Thank you again!December 4, 2011 at 10:59 pm #427931Good news!
Things have improved, but the module still has a lot of bugs.
You can see: http://autopsiablogger.com.br/index.phpBut now i can acess the Administrator Painel, and i can post, modify some modules (but no every modules, the “Twitter” module, for example, shows no tweet), etc…
But i really want all the things working right 🙂I configure my FTP connections, like you said.
I enabled and configured the FTP Layer, but I did not know what to put in the last field “FTP Root Path”, so i left empty.
Is this is the error? If yes, answer me, what i have to put in this field?
Thank you.

December 5, 2011 at 7:20 am #427974Hi kauepbd
I cannot access in your ftp folder so i cannot see your path
anyway in that field you must put your web server root
For example you have your web folder in /var/www/vhosts/yoursite.com/public_html in this example the green part is related to your hosting and the red part is your space,
so in your FTP Root Path you must insert /public_html ( This is an example )
anyway you can ask your hosting provider wich is the correct pathDecember 7, 2011 at 8:23 pm #428525Hi,
I did everything what you said, but the problem continues.
In the fifth step I enabled the FTP layer and provided all necessary data, including the “FTP Root Path” ( put it to automatically fill in) but the same bugs appear. When I created this topic provides all data access to my FTP account, there is no way to access it and take a look at what could be done?
I really need this problem solved ):
And thanks for you attention.

December 8, 2011 at 11:43 am #428678I’m sorry but i still cannot see on your backend the ftp enabled look at this image
I can’t do for you because i cannot login on your ftp you need to ask to your hosting provider the correct details for your ftp account and fills that field correctly

December 8, 2011 at 3:38 pm #428721I understand.
I will talk to my hosting provider about this problem, if they fail to resolve i will get the information you need to access my account.
