replace it with

Thank you, that solved the first issue of the slideshow not autoplaying.

Can you suggest as solution for the second problem?

1. the images used measure 1890×960 and yet they are ‘cut down’ in height and do not display full height.

Sorry, I’m an idiot. I made new images 1890×960 and thought I’d uploaded and replaced the smaller ones.

All fixed now.
