i am getting the following message when i enable flowlist on my live site

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /homepages/15/d257976858/htdocs/joomla/modules/mod_jaflowlist/helper.php on line 178

i am using version 1.5.7 of joomla and it is version 1.0 of flowlist. did not use the quick start package

Hello, I have a site that failed with JA flowlist. The Joomla! Version: Joomla! 1.5.9 and I used the Quick Start Version. I am looking for help to repair. I had to disable the JA flowlist. When I enable after disable, the site becomes unstable. Also the Menu Manager is now affected, it is not there anymore in the back-end and the front shows errors! In the Module Manager on the back-end shows a string of Parameter Warnings. What can I do to fix?
