I’ve just installed JA News Frontpage Module and Ja tabs module into my ja_seleni template.
    I have a few questions:
    1. It seems that “JA News Frontpage Module” automatically shows articles according to the order in which they appear in the Content > Front page manager. I want it to use the “most recent first” order parameter. As you know, in Menus > Main Menu > Home, one can choose this parameter. Is it possible to have it here too?
    2. I’ve duplicated a module (ja bullettin). Now I would like to have both “most read” and “updates” in the same jatabs module (as it appears on your demo). But how can I distinguish the two modules if they have the same name? What should I write in the module parameter “list module”: mod_jabulletin2 or something similar?

    Thank you

    Hi there

I would like to answer your questions as follows:

    1. It seems that “JA News Frontpage Module” automatically shows articles according to the order in which they appear in the Content > Front page manager. I want it to use the “most recent first” order parameter. As you know, in Menus > Main Menu > Home, one can choose this parameter. Is it possible to have it here too?

=> this module does not support your idea.

=> You can compare from the title of module.

If I enter the title of modules into the “List module” field, nothing is shown. I tried to enter “Updates” (the title I had given to that module) but it doesn’t work. “Ja Tabs” only works if I enter the the module type: “mod_jabulletin” in this case. But if I write “mod_jabulletin” twice, of course I get two modules displaying the same thing. How can I distinguish the “most read” and the “updates” if they have the same module type? I would simply like to have the same things you have in your demo, nothing more.
    Thank you for your answer

    Hello guy !

Suppose you had the “most read” module, it already display on the ‘ja-tabs’ position. And you want to display the ‘update’ module which use same the ja bulletin module and display same the position with the ‘most read’ module ( same as our demo).

    – Please access the module manager, choose the ‘most read’ module and click to the ‘Copy’ icon on the joomla toobar. After done, you have a second module, its name is Copy of most read. And Then you only make the configuration as you expect for this module, ( Note: you must to make sure that this module was displayed on the ‘ja-tabs’ postion )

    – Now, you come back the ‘ JA Tabs’ module. You set the ‘Type tabs:’ paramter equal ‘Modules’, set t he ‘Select a position’ paramter equal the ‘ja-tabs’ position

    Good luck

I have the same problem with JATaps , I used the quick start in my demo site and start to follow it in my live site , every thing looks fine except the Taps ! Just one show up,I couldn’t save the JATaps in the ja-taps position , I don’t have this problem with Plazza taps but Plazza Taps doesn’t look nice in this template! the other thing in my demo site there are 2 plugs which I couldn’t find in extensions folder plg_usersetting and jawidget , do I need those 2 plugs , if yes where could I get the latest ver. .
