August 25, 2009 at 3:51 pm #315225Well I’m not sure what is the problem but I can tell you what I would do if it happend to me.
1.) Wipe out the database.
2.) Wipe out folder I installed joomla in
3.) re-download the template
4.) Run a phpinfo.php and or log into my host cpanel make sure everything is up to date. For example my host anytime you change an .htaccess file it reverts your php to 4 Which will screw up my joomla every time and tends to drive me up a **** wall.
5.) Assuming everything is up to date I would upload the new quickstart.zip
6.) Go into servers cpanel => file manager => unpack the quickstart file.
7.) Go to website and re-install Joomla.— While I cross my fingers and hope I don’t see any funky errors again.August 25, 2009 at 4:10 pm #315226My DB has about 60K pages. To wipe out DB I will have to thnk a million times mate.

August 25, 2009 at 6:00 pm #315240If you are just installing this now it should be no issue to delete the database you created for joomla. If you mean that you installed joomla to an exisiting database instead of it’s own then yes, it would be more of a pain to remove it. Though I’m sure someone has a drop table script out there just for Joomla.
As for the file, once you have downloaded ja_raite_for_joomla_1.5x.V1.0 you would unpack that on PC and then browse to the quickstart folder. Here you will find qs_j1514_ja_raite.zip This is the file you will upload to your server.
Where you “unpack” it on your server is up to you… If you use a subfolder, domain.com/test/ then you would unpack it in the test subfolder. If you want it installed direct to your main domain it’s going to depend on your setup. For instance if you have a host with multiple domains it might be public_html/domain_name Or if you only have 1 domain it will go into /public_html/
August 29, 2009 at 10:17 pm #315690Hi,
The question was which folder of Joomla ? Does it have to be under templates?
August 29, 2009 at 10:18 pm #315691Its Giving me the following error –
SlideshowWarning: opendir(/home/easyhote/public_html/templates/ja_villadi/images/header) [function.opendir]: failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /home/easyhote/public_html/modules/mod_ja_header/mod_ja_header.php on line 37
Warning: readdir(): supplied argument is not a valid Directory resource in /home/easyhote/public_html/modules/mod_ja_header/mod_ja_header.php on line 41
The moderaters or the tech support doesnt answer emails? Are we gonna get A solution?

August 30, 2010 at 7:10 am #354099Hi,
I too had issues with the installation of the template but now all is well and running fine.However, I have had a problem for a while now but still cannot work out what to do.
Basically,
With this template every page has the H1 tag as the logo as below:
<!– HEADER –>
<div id=”ja-header” class=”wrap”>
<div class=”main clearfix”><h1 class=”logo”><a href=”/index.php” title=”Property World Dubai”>Property World Dubai</a></h1>
</div>
</div>
<!– //HEADER –>What I want to do is use “normal” H1 tags so that I can make them different on each page rather than the above. IE if I am writing an article then I can add 1 H1 on that page saying “Dubai Property” etc etc
So I need to find out a way to get rid of this h1-logo that is automatically generated on every page.
All advise is appreciated..
John
