I’m having issues with the magazine menu.

If I delete menu items, they get moved to the front of my menu with an order id = 1 and the menu item records are rewritten back to the jos_menu table with incremented rec ids

I have manually removed ALL jos_menu records using my DB managment tool, and the next time I go into Menu Maintenance, the deleted records have mysteriously been re-written back to the database..

Items in magazine menu CANNOT be deleted.

Hi jmccann !
Do you use teline ii not teline ? in teline ii includes jazin plugin , this plugin will auto create menu for section or category so it causes obove problem. You can unpublish jazin plugin for solve the problem.
You go to admin >> extensions >> plugin manager >> JA zin –> then ubpublish it.

I Know I can unpublish, but the menu system is now overcrowded with items I dont need and Ive spent ages tryng to figure whats going on.

Also, if I change a menu item from a blog entry to an Artice, I am then left withTWO menu tems.
