Hi,
my site use JA University and I also use “Accordion FAQ” plugin to make accordion effect inside an article.
When I open an article that contains my Accordion FAQ’s, the sub-menu items of that menu (and others’) don’t scroll down.
Here are the screenshots :
http://www.hostingpics.net/viewer.php?id=591912SubMenuproblem.pngThen when “Include jQuery script” parameter is set to “No”, the other menu and sub-menu items (both here for “Recherche” and “Formations”) scroll down BUT the text with Accordion FAQ has disappeared.
Is that a problem due to jQuery ?
How could I solve this ? I’m a beginner in creating websites and don’t really know what kind of code I should check.
Thank you in advance

July 11, 2013 at 10:02 am #498696Hi ratax,
When you enable the Accordion FAQ module with Include jQuery script, you also need to select the article you want to display this module (Basic Options >> Article box). Lets see my attached image & clear JAT3 cache after saving change.

July 11, 2013 at 3:04 pm #498737Hi Leo,
I think we don’t use the same version of Accordion FAQ because I dont have this Article box.
Here is how my parameters page looks like :I’m using “Joomla 2.5 plg_AccordionFAQ 2.5.8”.
I’m using the plugin version as I can easily customize the accordion effect for each article I edit.
What version of Accordion FAQ do you use ? Should I download it ?
Thank you in advance,
ratax

July 11, 2013 at 3:25 pm #498739Hi ratax,
I mentioned about Accordion FAQ module 2.5.8 which you can configure the Article option in the backend. Currently, there is a js conflict between Accordion plugin and our JAT3 plugin . As you know, changing the js functions of 3rd party extension is not under our support service.
The solution: You can try on Accordion FAQ module on menu item (Single Article type) instead of putting {accordionfaq …..} in the article content. It will works fine when you configure the module like my snapshot above.

July 11, 2013 at 5:11 pm #498748Hi Leo,
Thank you for your response. I thought that there were a way to solve my problem with Accordion plugin, as I just want to put it into an article, not to have menus besides.
I managed to try the AccordionFAQ module as you said. Thank you very much for your help I think it will be very useful in the future.
However I have found another solution with Core Design Accordion plugin, which enables the accordion effect inside an article content.
This is really what I wanted to have :My goal was to simplify the editing process (here we don’t have to configure the module for each page) as there are many articles to do like that.
It’s just because I am creating the website now.. but people in charge of it in the future may have a little less competences in website programming.Anyway, thank you very much. Hope the js conflict between Accordion plugin and JAT3 plugin will be solved soon.
Regards,
ratax
