hello, on my sites RSS feed: (sitename.com/index.php?format=feed&type=rss)

1. How do I make it NOT show the article images?

2. The top main link goes to sitename.com/component/content/?view=featured which is a blank page, how do I make it go to the regular home page?

3. It is ONLY SHOWING 11 articles. How do I make it show more? i think it may only show featured articles but I want to show all or certain amount.

4. I just noticed when a user is LOGGED IN , its showing completely different articles as logged out view.

I have j1.6 with joomlart timeline IV.

Hi vipcory,

First of all i would suggest to upgrade to J!.1.7.x since J!.1.6.x is not officially supported by Joomla.org.

As for the RSS feed and hiding the images from this i think you have to hack the Joomla core RSS feed function which is something i wouldn’t suggest, maybe there is a 3rd party module that does that so i am going to investigate a bit more so i can tell you for sure. But you know, there is nothing that can’t be done, although some times you have to dig into the code to do that.

As for the 11 articles (the featured once) can you please let me know if you have more than 11 articles as featured on your website?

This -> sitename.com/component/content/?view=featured looks like a SEF problem are you using any 3rd party component for SEF?
