Hello JA comrades-
I am having some problems with the top menu of my JA Travel template (for J17 – template version 1.1.0). I was testing the different options offered in the “Explore” tab for menu display and after picking the last option the menu stopped working (i.e. if I click on any of the menus, the submenus are not displayed – I got a “No input file specified” error instead). I am not sure which is the file that I need to specify to recover the original functionality (as in the demo). Do I need to check the properties of the “top Menu” or the “Explore” menu?
Thanks
MJ

December 14, 2011 at 5:11 pm #429643Hello Tom,
In the “Explore” menu (in the main menu) displayed different options for displaying submenus (e.g. MegaMenu, CSS, an others) I clicked the last one and the whole menu stopped working.
Thanks a lot.

December 14, 2011 at 6:23 pm #429648If you go into your Template Manager (select JA Travel) –> Profiles Tab . . . .
Within the “Menu Settings” parameters, you should be able to switch back to whichever menu system you want.
Which begs the question . . . Which menu system do you want to use?

December 14, 2011 at 9:43 pm #429665I would like to use the Mega Menu mode.
The problem that I described seems to be some sort of bug in the template and it can be reproduced easily even in the live demo here:
http://www.joomlart.com/joomla/templates/ja-travel
If you hover over the “Explore” menu, it displays two columns with items (i.e. the Megamenu format)
You can choose to change the display mode from Megamenu to CSS and back to Megamenu without problems
But if you pick the last option, the “Split menu” option, the menus do not roll down anymore. If you click on it you are linked to the “Upgraders” page. Once in this page there is no option for selecting back the original display mode (Megamenu)Could you please tell me if I need to change the configuration of the MainMenu, the “Explore” Menu, or the “MenuShowcase” Menu?
Thanks, I hope my answer is not too verbose
MJ
PS. This template is such a fantastic and complex piece. I like it a lot!

</blockquote>Ahhhhhhhhh . . . . . this is because this is how the Split Menu functions. You click on the item, and it brings you to that item/category page, and the child menu items are in the horizontal row just below the main navigation.
December 16, 2011 at 1:36 am #429858Hi Tom,
The issue with the top menu was resolved: after trying to fix a problem with the way menus display (for several hours) I realized that I forgot to CLEAN THE CACHE!!! what a noob!
Cheers
