Hello
I am looking to have the Online Store Browse page look like the Demo:
http://www.joomlart.com/templates_demo.php?template=ja_larix
However it appears very broken on my site see here:
http://danisaflowers.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=1&Itemid=35
I have no idea why this is happening. I had Melanto install the template over a year ago, as per demo, but it is not working now after I upgraded from joomla 1.013 to 1.0.15.
I am using Joomla 1.015 and VirtueMart 1.0.13a
Can anyone help with this product display problem??
Thanks again
Erik
August 26, 2008 at 3:17 am #267277okay — got it!
I found a reference to a missing file browse file from other posts:
I went to the quickstart files and found the the ja_vm_cat_browse.php – it was missing from my 1.0.15 install:
ja_larixja_larix_quickstartadministratorcomponentscom_virtuemarthtmltemplatesbrowse
However, now I have the problem of missing add to cart buttons ….
any thoughts???
August 26, 2008 at 3:40 am #267283…okay I found the post with the solution for the missing “add to cart Button” here:
http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/no-add-to-cart-image/however, how can I edit the file? I can’t change the permissions on the folder or the file via tJoomlaXplore —
the directory public_html/templates/ja_larix/scripts/ is set to 755 however the I continue to get a CHMOD error…. the file vm_stuff.js is set to 644
Any programming tricks to work around the permission settings so I can edit the file?
Thanks

ErikAugust 26, 2008 at 4:00 am #267287okay I still need help on how to edit the js script any attempt to modify results in a CHMOD error.
Regardless, I am continue to look a the source code for clues on how to get those pesky “add to chart buttons” to appear
When I look at the source code I see that there is reference to an existing image that is loaded on my site:
Here is the product page:
http://danisaflowers.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=23&category_id=1&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=35and here is the image url:
http://danisaflowers.com/components/com_virtuemart/shop_image/ps_image/add-to-cart_gray.gifhere is a code snippet:
<input type=”submit” style=”text-align:center;background-position:bottom left;width:160px;height:35px;cursor:pointer;border:none;font-weight:bold;font-family:inherit;background: url(‘http://danisaflowers.com/components/com_virtuemart/shop_image/ps_image/add-to-cart_gray.gif’) no-repeat left center transparent;vertical-align: middle;” value=”Add to Cart” title=”Add to Cart” />Is there anything in the code that would indicate why the add to cart button is invisible?
Thanks again
Erik
