Hello Guys,
I have already sent various support tickets but no luck (my latest attempt to raise a ticket was a 504 gateway error). Problem is that Product variables wont work. This is silly for a VM based template, no functionality (who wants a shop without product sizes and colors and etc) . I have came across some forum posts about downgrading to 1.0 and etc , and some others mentioning developers of jart are working on it, but no luck, no instructions or news.
Also Vm module is not working as it supposed to, (see attached screenshote) and there is an overlay layout problem.
Ticketing in Jart is really really slow. What can i do ?

November 7, 2013 at 12:33 pm #511475Hi,
Did you check this thread too?
http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/stockable-cart-variant-add-to-cart-only-redirects-to-front-page/Are you using Chrome by any chance? I see the front page tabs having problems in Chrome (the buttons are cut off sometimes).
All the best,
Calavaro
November 7, 2013 at 12:48 pm #511479I am using Chrome yes, and vm module sometimes have buttons cut oof and not visible.
Also i have cheaked the following thread. If i am correct there are currently 2 problems with the template? One is Add to cart doesnt work with cart variables (The effect where products is added to the cart with the overlay) and second is i need to revert back to 1.0.0 version ? How to do that without losing any changes i made to logo, sizes and some css alterations?
Thanks,
Thanos

The idea is rolling back to using the default effect of VM Add To Cart because the stockable plugin gets a conflict with our flying Add To Cart’s jQuery. So, you can apply this solution on the latest version of our JA Hawkstore template, not need to revert to 1.0.0 version.
<blockquote>How to do that without losing any changes i made to logo, sizes and some css alterations?</blockquote>
Rolling back to default VM Add To Cart will not affect on the logo, size and css alterations because you will not need to revert the template.
November 12, 2013 at 12:12 pm #511972Hello Leo,
Suggested post by calavaro leads to a forum post where multiple solutions appear (leading to new pages) . Can you please share exact solution information ? On what to change in order to have them visible in the product detail page?
UPDATE :
Seems like add to cart is not working right now . I am really dissapointed, after all this trouble, and site needs to go live for my client. Can i have a skype contact via pm system ? time is really pushing me.

November 13, 2013 at 4:49 am #512046Hi scissorhands,
You can find the detailed solution of this stockable variant issue at http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/stockable-cart-variant-add-to-cart-only-redirects-to-front-page/#post-510228
However, as many JA members using JA Hawkstore template agreed that we should display the Cart variant (Size, Color …) in the details page of a product, not category or VM modules. The reason, you can see that the width of each product item column is not quite big to display a cart variant to select size, color, it will make the layout of module look not well even all VM functions (add to cart, size selection) still work fine.
November 13, 2013 at 12:28 pm #512102Hello Leo,
I already downloaded javmprices.js you provided and replaced that, and also renamed default_addtocartd(RENAME).php , but no solution is working.
Also vm module is cut off, see attached image .

November 14, 2013 at 2:02 am #512139Hi scissorhands,
Can you help us by taking a backup of site before I help to correct this issue ?
The idea as i mentioned above is rolling back to default Add To Cart feature of Virtuemart component so that the Stockable Variants (Size, Color … ) will work fine on your Hawkstore site.In addition, make sure that you activated the Plugin (Custom Fields type) and created at least one product with this variant so that I can test out the result after applying changes.
November 14, 2013 at 4:06 pm #512244There is a morning backup up, please go on asap.

November 15, 2013 at 10:03 am #512344Hi,
I have added some css styles into templates/ja_hawkstore/css/custom.css file to display the Custom Fields on your site. Can you check it again and back to confirm me the result ?
November 15, 2013 at 10:38 am #512351Hello Leo,
Yes they appear now, but when you add them to cart it doesnt work.
November 15, 2013 at 5:10 pm #512383Any news ?

November 16, 2013 at 4:20 am #512405Hi scissorhands,
The AddToCart feature works fine now. The reason of this issue is that you duplicated the Stockable Variants in Custom Fields tab of that product which is limited to display one same Stockable Variant value on one product only.
However, there is still an error of cart module (on the right edge of site) that I need to ask this template developer for better solution in this case. It seems that the customized layout of mod_virtuemart_cart on Hawkstore template doesn’t work fine when we roll back to default AddToCart feature of Virtuemart. Please wait me some time, I will come back to reply you soon.
November 16, 2013 at 12:26 pm #512448Thanks for the solution. I confirm that add to card works now and you can add different sizes and colors.
Please advice me on the following. Lets say i dont have the pants (see attached photo) in size S, correctly template has the notify me where user can be notified about a product, but when user tries to change size (lets say medium) this strange thing is happening (see attached photo), there is an und (on the quantity and user must click the minus button to get this to work and add to the cart , is that a problem of some css issue ?
Also please notify me about the cut off VM product module.
Thans again,

November 18, 2013 at 3:22 am #512526<blockquote>there is an und (on the quantity and user must click the minus button to get this to work and add to the cart , is that a problem of some css issue ?</blockquote>
This issue comes from the wrong definition of size in Stockable Variants (Plugins type) on your site because it is recommended that you should NOT enter both the varchar (text) and numberics in the same Value Options. They must be put into two separated Vaule Options boxes.
If you have time, you can refer this tutorial to know how to use the Plugins custom field type correctly.
In addtion, i’m not sure totally why the “und” text appears in quantity box because it also appears when I tried to check out this product page on a Joomla default template. So, in this case I’d to suggest you to raise a question on Virtuemart forum to get better explanation in this case.
You can see my attached snapshots for the details.
