After upgrading to JoomShop 3.11 I notice the information on the main page about the products is being displayed along the side and not above as it was. This limits the number of items you can have on a row. If I make the image large enough to be seen, the description data is displayed one word per line.

Is there any update on the release?

I’ve done the upgrade from 3.11.0, thru the preliminary versions to 3.11.4 which is the latest and I’m still having the same problem. Is there a setting I need to turn on to get the product info to the top on the image and not along the side? In the demo the products name is above the image, the comment, price and description are below the image with a border between each. This is the way I want the information displayed on my site. Why is this not working properly???

Which template are you using for joomshopping?

If you go to myfassion.net/administrator/index.php?option=com_jshopping&controller=config&task=general and make sure that “template” is ja_tiris and that should work for you.

I posted up new templates for joomshopping a while ago with the new checkout functionality. I don’t know if JA has included this- you can try renaming my folder to myfassion and then install it so that you have a comparison.

Swissa I’m using ja-tiris tempate. In the General tag I don’t have the option for ja-tiris I just have default. The link you included shows solution for products in shopping cart. I haven’t reached that point yet. I just need to get the displays on the main page formatted like the demo. How do I get the ja-tiris template selection with the JoomShop General section?

    Hi there,

In download section of this JA Tiris template, please download zip file: jshopping_theme_tiris.v2.5.2.zip, extract it and copy css and templates files to appropriate folder inside this component:

    componentscom_jshoppingcss

That’s unusual! Tiris comes with a different template built in. Here is the tiris one from a fresh download from JA. It should go in root/components/com_jshopping/templates/ and sit alongside the default. Then you can pick this one in General tab.

    Hope that helps
