    Hello!
I have created a new second default profile based on the default profile. In the new second default view I have turned “Hide Main content Block” to Yes.

I wanted to assign this new profile to front page and all the first level menu items. I did so in the Profile override settings for each of everyone of the top level menu items. It worked okey, but some how all the sub level menu did also get the new default menu setting. So the Main Content Block disappeared on all pages for the sub level menus to.

    How can that be?

It is because you have applied the override to the root menu item in the profile override settings. All Sub settings would be affected. I have removed the entry for item 80 – OM Star of Hope so you can see what I mean, the sub menu items now work as expected.

Hello Phil! Thanks for your reply. But when you do it like that, as you did for item 80 I will Se the Main content block i tried to hide. Is it not possibly to hide the main content block just for the root menu?
Or do I have to specify the original default profile to each and everyone of the sub level items?

Excellent news. Did you see that in the dropdown that you can select just the homepage item? There is a lot more in there than you may at first see. Anyway glad you fixed it. Just reading your PM now.
