Hi – trying to edit the profiles – using Joomla 2.5 with correct framework.

I seem to be locked out of the profiles.

Any ideas anyone, please?

Hi,

The only reason i can think of is permission issues since profiles are actually files maybe joomla doesn’t have permission to write on those files.

Sorry to jump in here…I am nowhere near as experienced as pascm.

For me, sometimes they may looked greyed out but in reality they are not. Go the point where you want to edit and click in the box on the right to get a green tick. The grey goes. Then you can edit that element.

Maybe that helps you.

Many thanks for that. Yep, you are correct – you seem to enable or re-enable each option – with a ‘tick’. Hey presto – all works. Rather odd. But, nevertheless, it works.
