Gathered I do not have a copy of Photoshop, but I know Fireworks opens PSDs and that is what I have been doing customising this template. However, the output image is 1600 pixels wide but the source is 1200 pixels. Can any body confirm if this is just a Fireworks issue? 🙂

September 3, 2007 at 1:37 pm #228693The background image originally is 1600 x 530 pixels (file: body-top.jpg). Problem is, that only the background of laputa in psd is 1200 x 536 px, the backround in psd of the other colors are correct in 1600 x xyz px. So it is no FW issue, but a fault in the laputa psd-file.

September 4, 2007 at 8:45 am #228777I too noticed this.
A very nice template, but the demo art work is not the same as that which is in the source package.Subtle differences like fades missing, looking forward to seeing the updated source 🙂

September 6, 2007 at 6:40 pm #228995Thanks for the update – but I’m not so happy whith ist, because the background image (plane) in the top background of the laputa image is now solid connected with a part of the art images – you can’t get a clean blue background without any of the art figures (castle, clouds) as it was in the old version – but that’s what I need for my customization.
September 6, 2007 at 9:14 pm #229005As much as I loved the Laputa image, I decided to get some pretty nifty images from an image stock site instead and I am restylin it completely now 🙂
I can confirm what Orpheus says though.
