    I had a problem develop on my site last week that I have not been able to fix. I don’t know exactly when it started because it only occurs when I am NOT logged into the frontend of my site and I normally stay logged in to the frontend

    When using the JA_Purity_II template my frontpage stopped working whenever I accessed the public frontend. All of the other templates I have work correctly. Plus, if I login using another template, change the default template in the backend to JA_Purity_II and refresh my frontend browser window, the front page works just fine. In IE8 I am getting a 500 Internal Server error. In other browsers I get nothing, just a blank page.

    To troubleshoot the issue I have tried the following:

    1. I uninstalled the JA_Purtity_II template and I then reinstalled it. No change.

    2. I literally turned off every module that was available for the publich frontend. No change.

    3. Uninstalled all fo the non-Joomla default modules. No change

    I am using Joomla version 1.5.15 and JA_Purity_II v1.1.

    The only extensions and components I am using are

    -Bible Gateway Verse of the Day v1.05
    -Flexicontent v1.5 Beta5a

    I am working to get a copy of the log file from my very cost effective hosting provider but I do not have it yet.

    Prior to receiving the log file, is there anything else that I should check to see if I can fix the problem?

    I found and corrected the line 149 error based on some other posts here in the forum.
