In customizing the site I used the ready articles provided by JA. Today I published an article:

However, it does not appear as the first article.

Did I miss something?

Your site uses Arabic language, thus it is a little bit hard to detect the issue. It would be great if you can include the screenshot with detailed explanation, I will have a closer look then.

Hi Ninja Lead,

Thank you! I will formulate my question differently:

1. Why the newest article does not appear as the first to read?

2. It seems that articles are published by category; i.e. the newest of one category to the oldest of the same category, then it appears other category with the newest article in the first place and it continues to the oldest….

My objective is to let articles from different categories mix and the only ordination will be the date of publishing. The newest article is the first and the oldest is the last whatever the category is.

I hope it is clear now.

Hope clarification below would help:

It depends on the order in category> options set in Article Manager. If your site is using JA module, you can configure the order to get the newest articles.

You can check the same as above. Just note menu item site focuses on Category List and Blog, you need to check order from menu item.
