December 7, 2010 at 4:13 pm #157164Can any of the joomlart gallery plugins pull images from another domain or subdomain? I have a joomla site which resides in a sub-domain http://index.migman.com, but actually serves to index the root domain at http://www.migman.com.
The site is quite big. When I converted to Joomla I started putting images in the joomla installation but I would much rather keep that data in the old domain, mainly because the joomla install with images has grown to a ridiculous size.
Thanks in advance.

December 8, 2010 at 6:57 am #365740We don’t have such plugin to pull images from another domain or subdomain. We have a slideshow module which can display the images from another source, however the those images cannot be resized automatically.

Still, that might just do the job for me.
Are you referring to this one?

December 9, 2010 at 5:39 pm #366013A couple more questions:
- I tried a couple of ways to get Slideshow 2 to import from my external domain, but with no luck.
- I gather you can display a Slideshow 2 within an article with some html? – Where can I find the docs on that?

December 13, 2010 at 1:30 am #366459Hi Migman!
1. Ja slideshow 2 does not support, external images or from other domain.
2. This is the thread for Ja slideshow 2:

Hope this helps you.
