I purchased the installation service for 40 dollars on Friday. It stats that it only takes 24 hours to install. Does this include the weekend.? I tried to email them but the email is not valid.

Hi cwalker,

More than likely, they do not work during the weekends.

If you plan to be a webmaster, it is not bad to learn how to install it yourself, especially if you use the QuickStart Kit. If you are just starting, the Joomla 1.0x-JA Teline II is much easier, and it has less bugs.

I am more familiar with the Joomla 1.0x version, I have a detailed post on it, and there is one at the top for Joomla 1.5x by Hung, as well as one by Menalto. If you have any question, after reading the procedure, do not hesitate to ask.

Once you get more familiar with Joomla and the template, you may progress to Joomla 1.5x-JA Teline II. It seems quite a few people, especially new users have trouble with Joomla 1.5x-JA Teline II. While there are some real problems with Joomla 1.5x, it seems some of the reported problems here is more due to being new to Joomla, Joomlart templates, not always the template itself.

thanks I tried to install it myself but the file was so large that it would not let me install it.

This may be an issue with your webhosting, I have installed much much larger applications than the Quickstart kit.
