Hi there
I have a problem with the blog layout on my joomla 2.5/ purity ii 2.5.3 website. It’s hard to explain so here are the screenshots with firebug open to illustrate what happend:
When I’m logged out, the frontend (blog layout) looks normal as follows:
When I log in, the blog layout does not display the article (alignment) correctly and more importantly, the right menu “drops” as follows:
How can I correct this problem, so that “div id=ja-right” is withing “div class=main clearfix”?
I’m beginner in all this, so please tell me, if you need more information.
Best regards
Ivo-

December 14, 2012 at 9:26 am #476261Hi Ivo ,
Probably the problem belong to your article contents, a open or close HTML tag is missing, you can check again your article content, try to disable articles at that blog page one by one to see if the problem disappear.
Hope that helps !1 user says Thank You to Sherlock for this useful post
December 15, 2012 at 2:26 am #476348Hi Sherlock
Thanks for your help. I’ve checked. But there is no html tags missing.
I think what’s confirming this, is that when I don’t log in, the blog layout displays perfectly fine.
Do you have another suggestion?

December 27, 2012 at 9:43 am #477629@ivo6155: Apologies for this late response, somehow I missed this thread. I have fixed the problem on your site because we have customized com_content on JA Purity II Template.
You can see it on here
<blockquote>/templates/ja_purity_ii/html/com_content/article and category</blockquote>
Please check it again, let me know if it helps1 user says Thank You to Ninja Lead for this useful post
January 4, 2013 at 5:36 pm #478462Don’t worry about the late response, I was on holidays anyway. 🙂 Happy new year!
Thank you very much. It looks way better. The right menu is now displayed correctly. But… 😉
There is still a problem with the article width (only in the category blog layout). It does not display correctly. Here a screenshot:
By the way: What happens with your fix, when I need to update the template?
