    Hi,

    I have added the following styling in the template.css file that has fixed the issue.
    <blockquote>#ja-content-bottom{
    position:relative;
    }</blockquote>

    Since the rounded edges of 2 modules were meeting each other I have removed style=”jarounded” for the modules from layout code <blockquote><block name=”content-bottom” type=”spotlight” style=”jarounded”>mainbot1,mainbot2,mainbot3</block> </blockquote>

    Regarding the JA Extension manager installation..
    I tried installing and got an error “Component Install: DB function reports no errors” etc. So I checked in the Extension managers and saw 3 records of the JA Extension manager as shown in the attached screenshot. I tried uninstalling those but it gave me an error saying lot of details with ‘You need to manually remove the files’. So try removing files manually then check if the records can still be seen in the MANAGE EXTENSIONS area. If you can see, just select those and click uninstall and if you dont see theose, then try to install the extension again.

    Hope removing files will solve the issue..

    🙂 Thanks Himangi!

    I had to remove 3 instances of JEM in the database. _assets, _extensions, and _menu table before I could get it to install correctly.

    Have a great weekend.
    Cheers,
    M.

    Hi himangi –

    I’m having styling issue with the block “content-bottom”. As you mentioned above there was an issue with the mods touching each other. For some reason your solution works fine for the mods in the higher position, but if I add mods below them then only the one’s on the bottom are touching.

    Can you try to figure out how to solve this?
    Thanks,
    M.

    Hi,

    Please edit your template.css file and find

    <blockquote>#ja-content-bottom .ja-moduletable, #ja-content-bottom .ja-module {
    margin-left: 0px;
    margin-right: 0px;
    }</blockquote>

    and increase the margins to 5px;

    Save the file check if everything works fine.

    Ok i understand now those blocks and moving them around in the xml or more in the admin panel by hitting the edit button.

    How do i assign a menu after that say for my top menu. After editing the file and saving it i then try and go to module manager select a top menu and assign it as per what i edited in the blocks (layout tab).

    Am i missing something simple here. Basically i dont see the name say toptop when i try and assign the menu to it (even selecting the right template. When i do just type it in it does accept the typed out toptop but then when i borwse there is no change to my website.

    The website is alarp.net. Im trying to assign a different top menu to my left menu. Why is my top menu (mainnav is it) the same as my left menu assignment?

    Hi gunaselanv,

    Since this is a separate issue, could you please start a new discussion and post that link here or send it to me via PM? Also in the new thread please provide your site admin details and a screenshot showing what exactly you are expecting to achieve. With visuals it will be easy to understand your issue and give you an accurate solution as fast as possible.
