I downloaded the full pack – 4 zip files.
Installed T3 and Purity iii.
All good. When I try to upload the Quickstart file I get a Zero Data error.
This may be due to my not very good internet access. So I unpacked the quickstart zip file and uploaded the contents to my site.
But when I go to the site, instead of starting the installation, there is a message as though the installation is complete, telling me to remove the installation folder.
When I do remove it, (manually, by ftp, not automatically), there has been no change at all to the layout. As I say above, am I missing something?

<blockquote>But when I go to the site, instead of starting the installation, there is a message as though the installation is complete, telling me to remove the installation folder.</blockquote>It’s because you install quickstart on exists website.
Quickstart only use from starting point.Thank you,

Viet VuMay 20, 2015 at 2:56 pm #571234OK. Thanks for the reply.
I seem to have misunderstood the steps involved.
Does quickstart contain a complete new installation of Joomla 3.4, then? Do I start the whole installation from scratch? And if so, can I just use the previous database details from configuration.php when I have re-installed the site?
Thankyou

May 20, 2015 at 7:46 pm #571286No, they are general Joomla notices. I am guessing that your host is no longer compatible with the latest versions of Joomla. To be sure, download the latest version of Joomla and see if you get the same warnings. The quickstart simply adds a few files and a bit of info to the database. The files are simply images, the extensions and the template (just extra files at this stage as none are actually run until later) and the info is not added to the DB until the final stage of install.
What version of PHP does your host run?
