Hi mlardeux

It is always better to state the version of Joomla you are using when asking for help. I will assume you are using J1.5.X . I will again assume that you have already created the article in question, if so then follow these simple steps.
(1) Ensure that the article is published and set to appear in the Front page, you can check and confirm this by going to the Article Manager, click on the article in question to open it and make sure that Published and Front Page are set to yes.

(2) Now from Joomla’s Control Panel click on Menus and select Main Menu from the drop down list. From the main menu the first option should be Home, click on the Home menu. Now look on the right hand side of the page for Select Article: click on Select, this should present you with a list of all your articles to choose from, select your article and save.

That should do the trick. Have fun and let me know how you get on.

But all my setup is good, in the control panel, main menu, home, article

I don’t understand the problem, i don’t find a solution…

no bug, set up issue

go to your home menu link and change it to frontpage component instead of article.

You may need to make a new menu link to do it, just disable the existing one and make a frontpage component menu item and name it home..

I actually make a separate sect/cat and call it frontpage, but you don’t have to.

create your article and assign it to the frontpage.

( also, About JA Mesolite – Ecommerce inside on the frontpage is a article item, find it in the list and overwrite it and you don’t need to do anything like I stated above)

I have find a temporally solution i put an article with setup default in main menu an no home in default

and now it’s in frontpage but it’s not a nice solution…
