yes thanks!!!! that has worked perfectly.
Now im not sure if its a bug with the template or something i have done but i cannot seem to get the module suffixes to work on modules apart from the vm-fp and ja-slider module positions.
do you know why this might be?

January 7, 2009 at 10:28 pm #285278Yes… Joomla has different ways of styling modules which are applied in index.php.
modules – raw
modules – xhtml
modules – rounded
moduletablesand you can make custom styled ones like JA sometimes do with module – ja_rounded.
If you type ?tp=1 after your homepage URL (eg. http://www.joomla.org/?tp=1 )you will see the module positions and what style they are…
The modules in the center of Zeolite are moduletables and have the following suffix in the CSS…
- moduletable_default (type _default in the suffix box)
- moduletable_menu
- moduletable_text
- moduletable_blank
- moduletable_hilite
- moduletable_black
The modules at the side are rounded modules and have the following suffix in the css…
- module_text
- module_menu
- module_hilite
More info on module suffix here > http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/all-about-the-module-suffix/
January 7, 2009 at 11:10 pm #285279thanks for the very informative reply.
however, for the modules on the sides they dont respond to any module suffixes. can you check if it works for you.
if for instance i put _hilite in the module suffix for a module i i have in the right column nothing happens.
(also i dont think there is anywhere in the Zeolite userguide tutorial explaining the different suffixes used in the template. What does the _menu, _text, _blank even supposed to look like as even when i put them for the middle modules nothing happens)

January 8, 2009 at 12:56 am #285286You are quiet right. Although the styles are in the css Joomlart have not applied individual styles to each one. This sometimes happens when they reuse an old css file.
Some of them do work _blank (center and sides) and _hilite (center mods only).
Disable the mod title if you want to use _blank.
You can always make your own using the guide I posted above 😉
January 8, 2009 at 1:16 am #285289ok i will have a go, however all i really want to have is the ability to use the _hilite suffix for the side modules. So if you know the fix for that, that would be much appreciated.
thankyou for all your help!!
