I was wondering if it is possible, and how it might be accomplished, to have separate linkable hot-zones within a set of images to use with JA Slideshow.

In other words, there might be three different sections of a particular image where the user can click and be directed to different pages. (See Buy.com’s homepage for somewhat of an example).

I know how to create the linkable hot-spots in html, but how could one use such in conjunction with JA Slideshow?

My guess is actionscript. With actionscript you can accomplish almost everything … it just requires some skills for the more advanced features.
