If I use the Mega Menu for the main menu, how can I have a different menu (for example, in the right position) that is a drop-down (accordian style menu)? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I honestly can’t figure it out.

Not 100% sure what you are asking here but there are a number of accordian menu modules available on the JED that will probably fit the bill. You cannot have the mega menu in a module position.

You can set different types of menu in the main nav position.
If you’d like to place a menu with an effect (like accordian) in a module, you could use one of the special extensions (modules) for this.
