I’m not having a problem… this is just a philosophical question.
I notice that most of your template demos still push using K2 as a content manager. It seemed to me that the main advantage of K2 in Joomla 1.5 was the ability to nest categories. But Joomla 1.6 and 1.7 are now able to do that. The other tools, like Simple Image Gallery Pro for instance, are not absolutely necessary tools, as there are a number of different image gallery plugins available for Joomla.
So what is the continuing fascination with K2? I don’t have a problem with it. I just don’t see the ongoing need for it. Am I missing something?
