I am looking into one of the themes and would like to apply it to one of our domains. But at this time, I want to put it on a subdomain to test the look and feel of it and put it together before we put it on the actual domain. How does one go about on this. For example I am building the site at thisdomain.whatever.com – but when I am ready then I will move it to the thisdomain.com. Because currently thisdomain.com already has content but we’re looking into potentially changing out the CMS that we are currently using.

    Any feedback would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

Greetings, and thanks for your question and interest in our JoomlArt products . . .

In answer to your question … you would install the template into the subdomain folder on your server as you would install it into your primary site folder – nothing different or special, really. Then, as you correctly identified above, you would call it up via how ever you structured your subdomain url (i.e. http://www.subdomain.whatever.com or http://www.whatever.com/subdomain)

Hope that helps to address your question.

If you should have any questions with regard to any of our Templates/Themes and/or Membership Plans & Benefits, please do not hesitate to ask.

    😎
