There was a few people who asked if I had received a answer to this thread. Although I didn’ I did come up with a solution myself to get the same results. I used two modules,

Modalizer by NoNumber
Modules Anywhere by NoNumber

Modalizer is what creates the iframe popup, and Modules Anywhere is what allows you to incorporate the login module in you article. I used Fancybox as my selection in the Modalizer component. It works well and doesn’t conflict with any other modules using jquery.
