Hi

There are no specific issues with migration
It will works fine , the only thing that should be considered is that your old urls with k2 will be changed with new joomla urls this because item id will be changed with new joomla article id ,so if for you this is a problem you can manage redirections with an external extension doing the job

When I use the content slider module after doing an import of K2 articles, it doesn’t seem to see the newly imported articles, only the articles created last time in Joomla pre K2 use. What am I doing wrong?

Figured this out, too…. it created duplicate categories, had to recategorize the stories.
