Notice that there are different color scheme for the same template when i was browsing through the templates.
1. when i did a quick search i saw that i have to use firebug to change the color but firebug only works with firefox (which i am cant use due to some other plugin which interfers with what i type and i need switch on at all time). As such, how else can i change the color? is there like different file i can dl for different color or something like that?

March 23, 2010 at 10:54 pm #337489Hello.
If you want to change the color scheme of a template all you have to do is access Joomla Administration and in Template Manager click on the template you want. Then you can edit template options and you’ll find there how to change the color scheme.
Cheers

:confused::confused:Hi mediazpteltd.
As vitormarques explained, you should first check does the template have some predefined color styles you can choose from. In order to do that, open your template’s configuration from Template Manager and see if there is Default Style setting or something similar in it.
If you want to go beyond that and make adjustments that are not covered with predefined styles, you should play around with the css files located in CSS folder inside your template’s directory. You will find template.css file in there, which is where the most of your template’s styling is set up, but you should also check if there’s a colors (or similar) directory inside the css dir. If your template has predefined styles, this is where you should look if you want to make further adjustments.
Hope this helps,
Good luck 🙂

What template are you referring to?
Error could just be a result of missing credentials, but can’t say for sure. You will have to provide your FTP credentials and try again.

I checked the JA erica on my end. I do not see the xml errors. may be you can forward your admin login and ftp details.
I would like to have a look.
