Hi, I’ve just started using JA T3 framework and JA Purity ii. The theme is amazing and thanks for the wiki and video tuts.

I have observed that the back-end template editor is different for me when compared to the one being shown in the video tutorial. In my editor, there is no tabbed panel to edit the layout related content.

I attached the screenshots of both the editors for your understanding. I would like to know if the difference is related to Joomla version or do I need to install any other plugin.

I’m using Joomla 1.5 version. Hope my question is clear.

You are using JA Purity II T3 framework version 1 while video is T3 framework version 2
Please kindly check again.

Hi, I downloaded the framework plugin from this page

Is that the version 2? And is it alone enough for getting full functionality of T3 v2? Do I need to install anything in addition to the above plugin? Please provide the link to v2 if the link I gave above is not of v2. I’m using Purity 1.2.1 right now.

I’m getting an error while installing the blank template.

Need to add any file to the package?

Hi
Please unzip package, then install like as normal Joomla (remember to install sample data), quickstart is joomla with sample data for you, it is not a extension of joomla.

Hi, I’ve installed Joomla using an auto-installer and am unaware of manual installation. I think I’ll be fine with the template editor I have and wait till the next update of T3 framework is released. I’m still wonder as to why the version 2 is not installing properly.

Anyway thanks for your kind replies and help you offered. Thanks to JA for offering the framework and purity ii for no cost.:)
