Please refer to the attached screenshot for my questions / issues
1. I have added a new ‘Single Select’ field ‘Education’ in the resume form. This particular field is also displayed in the ‘Search for resumes’ page automatically. However the field description is not correctly aligned in ‘Search for resumes’ page (refer the attached screenshot). Please address this problem
2. Employer can also see 2 more fields ‘Approved’ which do not serve any purpose for the Employer. How can I remove these 2 fields from the backend
3.Does the columns in this table do not have the ‘Wrap text’ functionality similar to the one present in the ‘Jobs’ listing table. You can clearly see that locations are not completely displayed in some cases
4. How can I make sure that a particular field is displayed in ‘Search for resume’ table.
5. Do you currently offer the flexibilty a field in the profile page with the following options:
a) Add new filed’s name: Currently present in JA job board
b) Choose single value from a dropdown: Currently present through ‘Single select’ option in JA job board
c) Defining a ‘Others’ option in the dropdown list which when clicked will open a text area for user to type in the value: Currently NOT present in JA job boardEXAMPLE: We have association with 3 institutes and their names are present in the dropdown of ‘Institute’ field. Now If a student registers on our site who is not enrolled with any of the above 3 institutes, he will choose 4th option from the dropdown list i.e. ‘Others’.
Question: Is there any way ‘Built-in’ way through which a text box should open if student clicks ‘Others’ and then student can type in the institute’s name

Thanks for your quick and prompt response however I still have doubt regarding the following 2 points (in blue)<em>@JA Developer 198814 wrote:</em><blockquote>Hi,

>> You can manage field list via http://internstopros.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_jajobboard&view=jafieldlist -> Resume tables -> Delete the selected columnYou have delted one ‘Approved’ column but there is still one remaining. I tried to unpublish this field through backend but I am not able to select it. Is deleting this field is the ONLY way to stop it from apperaing in front end. For example, displaying ‘Address’ field on the ‘Search for resume’ will not serve any purpose but I can not ‘Unpublish’ or ‘Delete’ it as it is a important piece of information. Please suggest an alternate route.

In case you are referring to the ‘Display mode’, I have already set it to ‘Show on all frontend’ but Insitute field is still not visible on ‘Search for resume’ page.
Thanks.</blockquote>
Thanks for your help

Thanks a lot for your timely help. This has definately made things clearer and I have made some dersired changes However there is a small issue which needs to be looked at.
If you would see in the attached snapshot, the color of some columns are Green and some are Black. Can you please let me know the reason behind the same.

October 18, 2010 at 10:10 am #359393Hi,
If the column header is an url, it will be blue. The link of this column header allows to order data for this column also.
In order to configure to let the column header to be a link, you can do via administrator/index.php?option=com_jajobboard&view=jafieldlist -> Resumes table -> Edit column -> Set Linked=Yes/No
