    Hello,

    I have a few questions.

    1. When I am trying to change my resume at the frontend, it tells me after I click save that there is incorrect data. I have checked if there are field that are required but not shown, that is not what happening. When I am trying to add information thru the backend I get this error: Warning: array_key_exists() [function.array-key-exists]: The first argument should be either a string or an integer in httpdocs/libraries/joomla/base/object.php on line 148

    2. When I logging in and I am redirected to the show resume page, there are no modules at the side. When I am going to the standard page, click in the menu on my resume, than click on edit there are modules at the side.

    3. If a company add’s jobs thru the dutch website, he or she still receives english confirmation emails while they are translated.

    4. When I have a module and I have not set that it has to be shown on all pages, how can I make sure that the menu and other modules are shown next to the jobs, resume’s etc.

    Thanks

    Hi Tim,

I would like answer your questions one by one as below:
<blockquote>1. When I am trying to change my resume at the frontend, it tells me after I click save that there is incorrect data. I have checked if there are field that are required but not shown, that is not what happening. When I am trying to add information thru the backend I get this error: Warning: array_key_exists() [function.array-key-exists]: The first argument should be either a string or an integer in httpdocs/libraries/joomla/base/object.php on line 148</blockquote>

Please check in the Resume Form: go to back end >> JA Jobboard component >> Form Customizations menu >> Resume Form >> make sure that there is not any the field which is not done for the change ( not rebuild button ) and valid the fields which are required attribute, may be the valid condition is wrong.

<blockquote>2. When I logging in and I am redirected to the show resume page, there are no modules at the side. When I am going to the standard page, click in the menu on my resume, than click on edit there are modules at the side. </blockquote> You must set up modules to display on that page as you wish. This is some info about setting of Job modules http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_Job_Board_2.5/Installation_Guides

<blockquote>3. If a company add’s jobs thru the dutch website, he or she still receives english confirmation emails while they are translated.</blockquote> You need create email template for Dutch language and make sure that the Dutch is active when email has been sent.
    http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_Job_Board_2.5/Administration#Email_Template

<blockquote>4. When I have a module and I have not set that it has to be shown on all pages, how can I make sure that the menu and other modules are shown next to the jobs, resume’s etc.</blockquote> That is the setting of module assignement pages. Please look at the page http://docs.joomla.org/How_do_you_assign_a_module_to_specific_pages%3F

    Hope this clears.

    Hi,

Thanks for all the explanations. But still the first one is not working properly. I have checked all the required fields and there validation status, no strange issues there.

I get this message at the backend for filling in all the fields in my test resume; Warning: array_key_exists() [function.array-key-exists]: The first argument should be either a string or an integer in /var/www/vhosts/seizoenwerk.nl/httpdocs/libraries/joomla/base/object.php on line 148

Can you help me please because I can’t do anything now.

    Hi

About the dutch language emails, I translated them but no email has been send in Dutch. Can it be that I use the english backend version that it sends english because all the employer accounts are set to default backend and frontend language. There is no otherway because I employer can not choose a language with registering.

    Thanks

    Dear Tim,

You must set Dutch as the default language on your system or you can duplicate email content to refine because the email content contains English and Dutch 🙂

    Hi Hero,

Thanks I understand, my default frontend is Dutch and default backend is English, does this mean that it sends english emails or dutch (because it sends english and I want to keep english as backend default language). At this moment it only sends english mails. Another question about this, when a registered person does not have the ability to choose a language how does the system know what kind of language mail it has to send. Is it so that when a german person registers thru our german website, that it receives german email message or still english. If this is so, it would be great if a person can choose a language at registering.

    thanks

    Hi Tim,

If Dutch is the default language on frontend, the Jobboard system will send Dutch emails to user.

<blockquote>, it would be great if a person can choose a language at registering.</blockquote>

User can edit his/ her profile if you enable it on frontend.

No, new users should update this after successful registration. You should show this to new user to update in the registration email.

OK, thanks. In the meanwhile I translated all the emails, I have setup an employer with the dutch language (what also is the default language) and still I get english email messages. Can you have a look at this.

    Hi Hero,

Maybe good to know but I am not receiving any emails anymore when a new job is posted. I haven’t changed anything so I think this strange.
