Hello,

I tried to first install the 3.1 version and it’s work with no problem when I realized that in that version does not have a Virtuemart. I wiped all the public_html directory, and user, Mysql base andl created a new database and a new user in cPanel and copied into the public_html quickstart 2.5 version.

When I start the installation http://www.magicos.eu/index.php I see “base settings” – next and the loader is constantly spinning, nothing happens. After a while, it stops and I again see the settings for connecting to the database (attached). I can not install

It sounds like it might be your own computer or browser stalling things up.

Also, if you want Virtuemart to be installed with your quickstart installation, you will need to be sure to also install the sample data as part of the process.

Yes, sample data is installed and also Joomla installation (I guess something was wrong with my server response couple hours before).

I’m just not sure how Joomla 2.5.16 is safe to use…
