Hi there,

I’ve been using JA since 2008 for one of my clients who had too many site requirements for me to handle personally.

I haven’t used the Quickstart file before and am new to Joomla 1.5.

I’m trying to install the Rave template (on a new install of 1.5 so I can migrate the old 1.0.x site) and have been getting a number of errors.

So I (cleanly) reinstalled 1.5 and am trying to install the “Quickstart” file, but Joomla just hangs.

What (exactly) is the quickstart file and do I need to set any particular permissions in order for it to work?

Hi,

Quick Start file will help you to install the site with sample data which is see on demos.you want to give host,database name and username when you installing the template

Hi, this is quickstart package for JA Rave: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=1653 and during installation, you are required to declare some info about host,database name, username. This installation process our and Joomla template are the same.
