September 28, 2008 at 8:46 pm #272917i wonder if it can help to check the php version as you talked about, maybe ONE of this lines in the htaccess can help you?
AddType x-mapp-php5 .php
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .php
AddHandler cgi-php5 .phpOr you can try the full package here: https://dev.virtuemart.net/cb/displayDocument/VirtueMart_1.1.2-COMPLETE_PACKAGE.zip?doc_id=2376
Remember to take the one for 1.0.xxI also forgot to ask you, which VM version is the quickstart package using?
If it is not the latest one try to upgrade it to the latest.mj1256 Friendmj1256

September 29, 2008 at 1:59 am #272962you right, i can do the php5 check in the .htaccess, but as the site has not propaged i have it disabled.
i also think it is a database issue
the VM in the 1.0.15 quickstart is 1.1.0 stable
so that is for php5 and my server has php5, so that should be ok.
I gave up, this was an existing site i was moving and i thought it would be easier to copy things to the quickstart rather than upgrading the existing site.
i settled on just upgrading the existing site for now and i’m almost have everything working
all is fine except for the currency module
