Hello,

I have installed the quickstart edition of JA Lead.
But after installation I only got the module ‘main menu’. All the other components and example content isn’t installed.

I installed on a fresh database and didn’t use another prefix then ‘jos’, also I didn’t hit the pre-installed data button of Joomla itself.

Can you tell me what went wrong and is there a (simple) way to install all the data without doing a new installation?

You need to press install sample data.

In the manual for quickstart, is mentioned not to do that. Because the Joomla content will overwrite the sample data.

Give it a try. You need to click the Install Sample Data to have site looking as Demo site. Quickstart is only for getting a brand new site. It is not recommended to overwrite any online Joomla Site with the content of quickstart.

Hi Arvind,

It is a install of a brand new site, so it has to work.
If I will install it again and choose ‘install sample data’, I suppose it will not install all the components from the demo template, only the default Joomla data.
