I have been trying to dealing with it for ours, and nothing work.

At step 4 for the installation, I key in the correct information to connect my mediatemple gridserver database, the loader appears… but stays on for ever!!

I could check on thorugh PHPmyAdmin that it actually connects and populates the database, but it never allows me to continue with the installation.

Any advice? (this should be the easiest part of the job! *sigh*)

I have to add that it also happens on step 1: I choose UK English, the loader appears…. and it stays on for ever! >:(

I have tried it on Chrome, Firefox and IE, and it always get stuck…

I have review the php.ini and it includes the lines
memory_limit=64M
max_execution_time = 300

PHP version is 5.3.10

Did you try to increase the memory_limit and max_execution_time to a greater value?
