Just install the quickstart, update everything through ja extension manager…
but i got this error from my xampp:

Warning: Parameter 1 to plgContentPlg_JAThumbnail::onPrepareContent() expected to be a reference, value given in D:xampphtdocsjarasitelibrariesjoomlaeventevent.php on line 67

Anyidea what might caused this ?

i’m using, windows, xampp, php.5.3

is there incompatibility ?

php5.3 maybe have some problem,i am using xampp1.7.1,it’s php5.2.

I suspect it’s 5.3 also. Roll back XAMPP to previous version and see if that helps. Or turn off error reporting… it’s a warning – not an error so everything should still function correct.
