Hello,

I Have many issue with the Quickstart package.

The last one :

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ' DROP TABLE IF EXISTS `ys6q4_acymailing_config`' at line 1 SQL= DROP TABLE IF EXISTS `ys6q4_acymailing_config`

It’s the first time i have problems with an JA Quickstart package. I’m installing on OVH provider.

These issues already addressed. It’s because database collation. Please check it on forum.
But i would suggest you go with MySQL Server 5.5 or higher.

It would caused by specific server issue. Please provide your CPanel access. I’ll help you install it.

i understand but i think there is really a problem with this quickstart package.

have you ever seen as many users with problems for installing an JA quickstart package ?

i know you try many times with this package and it works for you but it’s not the same for many users.

Can you provide a link with an fresh SQL dump and quickstart fresh install full directory to install it manually (an ZIP) ?

You have to change the collation(utf8_general_ci) before you install Joomla.

Open your empty database with PhpMyadmin, click on Operations and change the collation.

Just for information. Please make sure your MySQL server always default with utf8 . latin is very old thing.
