Hi.

I am very green with this stuff, and am having an issue off the bat.

When I do the quickstart through the joomla upload panel, I get the following message:

Failed to move uploaded file to /media directory.

I have played with permissions, adjusted file size in php.ini file, added something to htaccess file, but still nothing….

I was able to upload just the template just fine..

So my questions are:

Is there a way to resolve this.. I haven’t been able to in a couple of days.

What does using the quickstart do for me.

The joomla level is 1.013.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you have the component joomlaXplorer you can upload and install the zipped files through that…for what its worth thats all I ever use, and so far had no trouble.
