When I install Events on my localhost, it fails with the following message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function curl_init() in C:UsersMardiWampServerwwwJAEventsmodulesmod_jatwitterjatwitter.php on line 332

I am on PHP version 5.3.0 and MySQl Version 5.1.36

I have successfully installed it on my production on-line server (just the template). The problem I’m having there is changing the color of the template. I choose green and get a message that the file has been saved, but when I go to the page it’s still blue.

The error is simply because php_curl is not enabled on your loacalhost. If you are using Wamp then go to PHP>PHP Extensions and make sure php_curl is ticked, same in Mamo. If you are using Xampp or someting else you will need to aske there how to enable it.

Alternatively simply go into the Joomla back end and disable the Twitter module and your site will spring to life.
