April 3, 2008 at 3:52 pm #127208I’m trying to install the avian II quickstart to joomla 1.0.15 on lunarpages to site http://www.baseballmilwaukee.com
I’m getting following error message after it uploads:
XML setup file is not for a “template”
What does this mean, and is there an easy fix?
I have avian II up now, but want the site pre-arranged like the demo. Is there a way for me to get this done, or do I have to do it a piece at a time?

April 4, 2008 at 3:05 am #244311This is maybe your xml in templates folder error when you extra zip file. You should try to re-download and install. If its still error you could try to download template package and copy xml file from template package override on itsefl in quickstart package.

April 4, 2008 at 6:01 am #244323well, I have no idea how to do that. I buy the templates so I don’t have to do anything else. Joomlart’s don’t seem to accomodate that. Anyway, if you have time to give me step by step directions, that would be great, if not, I understand. I did download several times, same error re XML each time.

April 6, 2008 at 6:05 pm #244588Are you then going to your web browser and running the installation? Enter the address where you uploaded the quick start files to.

April 7, 2008 at 5:38 pm #244724OK, I found some old threads, and found I can reload clean. I’m not going to, but that’s the approach apparently. Thanks. See my new thread. I’m getting some title stuff I don’t want and can’t find in the html where to fix it.
What I want to do is just put a picture where it says Avian and has blog content for some reason rotating in. http://www.baseballmilwaukee.com
How do I put a background picture where it says ja avian?
