I have installed now three versions of the quickstart, the first two had multiple issues, but the latest version posted yesterday seems to work fine…although the module positions do not look like the placements as shown in the installation information…

I do not have listed the position “content-mass-top”, and there are several other descrepencies…

I also see that there are listed several new additional files below the latest “quickstart”…are these also to be installed in addition to the existing quickstart, or is the quickstart complete? Maybe those new files are what is the problem?

Also, the default layout does not show for me the body on the left, with the left/right over on the right, instead it shows left – body – right….so how do I get body – left, then left/right…?

    Hi you

In the case, try to download our userguider to configure your website: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja-ores-userguide-old/

On your demo, your body is on the left….the “Marketing Solutions” and the “From Our Blog” are on the left…

Using the “quickstart Installation” and with the layout “default” on my installation, the body is in the middle…I cannot see any layout choice with body on left, only left – body – right, or left/right – body…

There is no way to adjust the layout in my quickstart installation for “body – left/right”…

Please look at my site where “marketing solutions” is body centered…your demo shows body left…

I do not have that option…

What about the extra new files…are they to be installed also with the latest “quickstart”???

The point of the Quick start is to give us the users the ability to install the same site as what the developers (Joomlart) in their demo section.

I do strongly suggest to download the latest release and install the quick start. the other other files below are additional moduales; components, templete and plugin’s in case you do not wish to use the quick start and / or you already have Joomla installed.

I did install the quickstart (as stated), and I do know what that is…the problem as stated above (twice) is that the latest quickstart modules and layout are different than the demo shown and also different than the examples shown for the installation…

The demo shows BODY LEFT…then the columns LEFT/RIGHT…

The quickstart (latest) I installed has BODY MIDDLE…and there is no way to get the body LEFT using the function options available in the template layout options….

Also, some of the module positions shown in the installation details (content-top-mass) do not exist in the quickstart version i have installed….

These discrepancies are the reason I have questioned the additional files listed as “updated” in the download section…

SO, unless you can give me an answer instead of a lecture get off my thread…
